You and Me

Do you remember?

You used to fly over the mountains,

and I used to swim in the oceans.

You used to come at the shore

to tell me the secrets of skies,

and I used to come at the shore

to share the mysteries of ocean.

You used to fly away

carrying oceans on your wings,

and I used to swim away

holding skies in my eyes.

Eons have passed

since we last met at the shore.

You sold the skies,

and I traded away the oceans.

You have forgotten

how to touch the heights of the mountains,

and I have forgotten

how to dive to the depths of the oceans.

You spend your days

trying to look beautiful without wings,

and I spend my ways

worrying about bountiful of things.

But we both know,

you still carry the secrets in your heart

and mysteries still see the world through my eyes.
